When I sent a proof-of-concept to the program coordinators they asked if I could make the left and right margins smaller. Then the version that I put on the projector in the classroom would not use pgfpages and wouldn't have the margins (why would it need them anyway?) Instead of coercing beamer to create margins on my slides, I am thinking about using pgfpages to rescale the slide's page size and place it on the physical page with the requested margins. I can use PDF2Keynote, then open in Keynote and save as PowerPoint. Producing PowerPoint is not going to be a big problem for me. I have a workflow but I'm asking if there might be a better one. This is to align with other logo elements put on the screen later and to allow for subtitles. They have asked me to produce PowerPoint slides at the standard (standard for PPT, that is) 10" by 7.5" size with a 1" margin on the top and a 2" margin on the bottom.
